My Philosophy

As an educator, we must have a set of principles in line in order to help drive our educational practices. These guidelines or principles are needed for us as educators to ensure we are adequately working in our students' best interests. Educators should be a model of consistency for our student population. In order to be that model of consistency, each teacher should strive to be up to date in the knowledge of their content area. We can only best serve our students if we are up to date with the current practices and mediums of disseminating information. As an educator, I must be one hundred percent prepared to educate my students each day. To be the best prepared, an educator needs to spend time in professional development workshops, continuing education in their content area, and the instructional strategies or style of instruction
